High Protein Acai Bowl

The best way to start your morning? You guessed it right, not a bagel with cream cheese! The acai bowl is a refreshing fuel-up of raw ingredients that won't leave you bogged down and groggy. The recipe contains a balanced variety of protein, healthy fats and carbs and apart from breakfast is also ideal for a pre/post workout meal.

  • 1 pack of frozen acai (100g)

  • 1/2 medium FROZEN banana

  • 1/4 cup nut milk

  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • Optional toppings: granola, hemp seeds, berries, chia seeds, coconut shreds

  1. Pour the 1/4 cup of nut milk into your blender

  2. Then put the frozen acai, frozen banana, chocolate protein powder and almond butter

  3. Blend until it has a smooth thick consistency. If it is like a soup, then reduce the amount of nut milk next time you make it.

Where to find frozen acai packs? Frozen section of Whole Foods, I like the brand Sambazon. Trader Joe's also has frozen packs.
